SHELBY MORGAN AND HISTORICALLY CLOSE FRIENDS

Shelby Morgan is a singer-songwriter based in Baltimore. Her sound blends 80s-inspired synth-pop with indie-pop and contemporary pop-rock, pairing nostalgic textures with modern songwriting and an emotional, high-energy live show. Morgan’s vocal style is compared to Miley Cyrus, Shania Twain, and P!nk, with musical influences ranging from Stevie Nicks to Robert Smith of The Cure. *** Historically Close Friends is the answer to the question: What if All Things Go was a band? We’re known for high-energy, feel-good performances. We’ve built an engaged local following through dynamic sets that blend queer indie-pop influences (think MUNA, The Beaches, The Aces) and are now performing originals that channel that same energy. *** Lena Traynham is a second-generation DC area musician whose eclectic original music and infectious stage presence make her a standout in the local music scene. This indie-pop-twang-rock concoction draws from a lifetime of influences creating something undeniably unique. Her long-awaited debut project launched with her first single, “Brick by Brick” — having just celebrated the release of her debut EP, “twenty somethin'” early last summer. Her latest voiage has ignited to the launch of her debut music video featuring her newest single “Break Down Easy” — a deceptively upbeat and undeniably raw love letter to anyone that’s experienced heartbreak .
